Mr. Soot’s Chimney Sweeps was established in 1988 and was incorporated 19 years later. Dale Baesman, president of the company, decided to sweep chimneys as a part-time job. However, it wasn’t long before this “side business” turned into a full-service company, with several employees. Over the years, Mr. Soot's reputation for quality service has built a loyal customer base, servicing over 8,000 customers in the Myrtle Beach area. Dale was certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) for 20 years.
